Quantum science and technology (QST) is an emerging field that combines information science and quantum mechanics. The QST considers the basic principles of quantum mechanics such as superposition, entanglement, etc. in computing, simulation, communication, and sensing, then further develops the unique methods to break through the engineering problems that conventional methods cannot overcome. Those quantum advantages make QST become one of the hottest topics today. In this poster, the possible research projects in Quantum Communication and Sensing Laboratory (QCSLab) will be presented. The research topics of QCSLab will focus on the implementation of key technologies in quantum communication and sensing by using the mechanisms such as quantum optics or atomic, molecular, and optical physics, furthermore, clarify the underlying physical mechanism. Specifically, the possible future research areas include quantum key distribution (QKD), all-optical quantum repeater, quantum illumination radar/lidar...etc. These researches will not only be theoretical studies, the experimental demonstration also is an important task for our lab. We welcome all students who are interested in our study to join our group.
