Polarization compensation device development group

Transmitting high-fidelity, high-rate entanglement through telecommunications infrastructure is a key pathway to achieving large-scale quantum networks, which will enable applications such as quantum encryption, network security, blind quantum computing, distributed quantum computing, and quantum sensing. However, fiber optic transmission is often susceptible to interference, leading to instability. We aim to control the polarization of light to ensure transmission stability.
